Chickadees are one of my very favorite birds to visit my yard, and one of the first to let me know the bird feeder is out of seed. It's also one of the first birds I learned to identify when I was a child. I remember taking a trip to a nearby park where you could hold out some seeds and they would land right on your hand to feed! This is now my third version of a chickadee- as soon as the last one sold out I was sketching out a new version!
This four color print on lush, 100% cotton paper was created from one wood block for the background, and a three color reduction cut linoleum blocks for the bird. Reduction cuts are made by carving into the same piece of linoleum, thereby destroying the block as it is printed. That means there is no going back and reprinting the image!
Easily fits into an 8” x 10” mat or frame.
Matted print will fit in an 11" x 14" frame
