For this print I wanted to capture a bit of late summer magic, so I looked to my own gardens for inspiration. Two of my favorite flowers are featured here: Cutleaf Coneflower (Rudbeckia laciniata) and Anise Hyssop (Agastache foeniculum), both are powerhouse native plants that are constantly covered in pollinators of all shapes and sizes! In addition the the bees and other insects, goldfinches love feeding on them (especially the coneflower). In fact, one came and had a little snack as I was outside sketching! Obviously he needed to be included in the print as well.
This is a three color print, on lush, 100% cotton paper. Created from three carved linoleum blocks. Easily fits into an 8” x 10” matte or frame.
