Sparrows

Sparrows are definitely the most common bird at my feeder, and their antics always crack me up! One tiny little bird will hog the whole feeder until it's had it's fill. Or several of them will congregate in a nearby tree squawking at each other, never sitting still for long. I feel it's like I'm watching a big family, where you're not sure if they are yelling angrily at each other, or if that's their normal talking voice. Either way, they seem to have a system worked out, even if it means flittering around the feeder until it's their turn to eat!

This four color print on lush, 100% cotton paper was created from a 3 color linoleum reduction cut and a pressure print. Reduction cuts are made by carving into the same block, thereby destroying the block as it is printed. That means there is no going back and reprinting the image! Easily fits into an 8” x 10” mat or frame.
