American Goldfinch Fine Art Linoleum Block Print

Goldfinches are near and dear to me, mainly because they were the first birds to respond to all of the native plants I put in my yard back in 2020. There always seem to be at least 3 or 4 feasting on my bee balm or cutleaf coneflower, and if they aren't snacking I at least hear their happy chirping from the trees. Even in the winter I see them foraging on the seed heads I leave up in the garden!

This four color print on lush, 100% cotton paper was created from one wood block for the background, and a three color reduction cut linoleum blocks for the bird. Reduction cuts are made by carving into the same piece of linoleum, thereby destroying the block as it is printed. That means there is no going back and reprinting the image! 
Easily fits into an 8” x 10” mat or frame. 
Matted print will fit in an 11" x 14" frame
